Warm greetings to everybody who has found their way to our town through this website!
Special greetings to all who have come from far and wide to visit Riudecanyes and also to all the townspeople who are using this means of communication for the first time.

As a reminder for those who already know us, and as information for those who are still getting to know us, Riudecanyes is a small, friendly town steeped in history, situated in Baix Camp county between the Mediterranean Sea and the Argentera mountains, and close to the larger towns of Reus and Cambrils. Ours is a supportive community, with a commitment to the environment, a marked interest in forming associations and participating in local initiatives, and enriched by the presence of people from many different places.

Despite our small size, we have achieved great things in the past and we also have great projects for the future.
Riudecanyes Town Council hopes that this website will not only provide a source of information but also a forum for communication, debate and participation.

Aware of the need to maximise the potential of the digital era, I am confident that our effort to construct and regularly update this website will soon bear fruit.
However, let us not get carried away by the virtual world. The real Riudecanyes is much better! I should therefore like to extend an open invitation to all of you out there who are still strangers to our town. Riudecanyes is well worth a visit.
